Who We Are
Ban Kracheng Thai Massage has been proudly operating in Bedfordview for more than 10 years. Our name comes from Ban Kracheng, a village in Sisaket, Thailand — the birthplace of our co‑founder, Sirikanya Kiley.
Sirikanya grew up surrounded by traditional Thai healing practices. Her mother and sister are both experienced therapists who continue to share their skills through Ban Kracheng Thai Massage and Spa. Together with her South African husband, Brandon Kiley, she set out to build a space that honours her heritage while offering a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
Their dream was not to create just another Thai massage studio, but a place that reflects their shared vision — a sanctuary of tranquillity, contemporary design, and authentic Eastern techniques passed down through generations.
Today, Ban Kracheng Thai Massage and Spa is known for its homely atmosphere and deeply restorative treatments. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or healing, our team is here to help ease the stress of your busy lifestyle at our peaceful space in Bedfordview, Johannesburg.
At Ban Kracheng, we bring these authentic techniques to Johannesburg, offering treatments designed to relieve stress, reduce pain, and leave you feeling refreshed and re‑energised. Whether you’re seeking deep healing or peaceful relaxation, our tranquil space in Bedfordview is here to welcome you.
Our Authentic Thai Wellness Bedfordview Philosophy
THAI MASSAGE
Thai Massage is a traditional healing technique that focuses on the connection between mind and body. Performed on a floor mattress with the client fully clothed, it involves rhythmic pressure using the therapist’s thumbs, fingertips, hands, feet, arms, and legs.
Compression, stretching, and joint manipulation work together to loosen the body, improve flexibility, and relieve tension. The therapist moves from the feet up to the shoulders, neck, face, and scalp, using body weight and controlled pressure to create a deeply relaxing and restorative experience.
MASSAGE
Massage is rooted in the healing power of touch. Regardless of the technique used, the psychological and physiological benefits remain profound.
By relaxing the muscles and stimulating circulation, massage encourages healthy blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. Regular massage can help normalise blood pressure, support overworked arteries and veins, and stimulate the lymphatic system — which nourishes cells, removes waste, and strengthens the body’s natural defences.
Massage also improves muscle and skin tone, supports the nervous system, and enhances overall wellbeing.

OIL MASSAGE
Oil Massage, often referred to as Aromatherapy Massage, is more than simply applying fragrant oils. Each blend is carefully selected to create a specific effect — from energising to deeply calming.
The technique uses long, gentle, flowing strokes designed to soothe the nerves and support lymphatic drainage. This style of massage is ideal for relaxation, stress relief, and restoring balance to both body and mind.
